Date: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 31st, November 1st and 2nd, 2025

Place: RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa – Room: Clark Hall.

Rounds: 5, Friday 7:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday @ 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Type: Regular Swiss

Sections and prizes are based on projected entries and may change.

Open – (rated FIDE & CFC); 1^st $1400, 2^nd $800 3^rd $500 U2200  $240, U2050 $240

U 1900 – (rated CFC); 1^st $1000, 2^nd $600 3^rd $300; U1750 $200;

U1600 – (rated CFC) 1^st $1000, 2^nd $600 3^rd 300; U1300 $200.

Time Control: Game-in-90-plus-30-seconds-a-move

Entry Fee:

Open: $120 if pre-registered, $140 at site;

U1900: $100 if pre-registered, $120 at site;

U1600: $80 if pre-registered, $100 at site

Free entry for GM/WGM & IM/WIM.  National Master entry fee is $100 if entered and paid by email by October 23rd.

GM Sambuev is playing.

Add $20 if playing up a section.  A player must be 100 points or less from the rating floor for the section he wants to play up in.

CFC or FQE membership is required.

Requesting byes: max of three ½ point byes in the first four rounds.
