Dates: Friday, May 1st, Saturday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 3rd, 2026

Place: Arnprior Public Library, 21 Madawaska Street, Arnprior, Ontario

Rounds: 5

Times: Friday 6:30 pm Saturday 9:30 am and 2:00 pm Sunday 9:30 am and 2:00 pm

Type: Regular Swiss in one section (rated by the Chess Federation of Canada)

Time Control: game in 90 minutes with 30 seconds added per move

Prizes: based on entries and by rating group

Entry Fee: $65.00

Byes: byes available for Rounds 1 to 3 and a single half point will be given for requested byes

Chess Federation of Canada or Fédération québécoise des échecs membership is required and players are asked to ensure their memberships are up to date before registering. Boards, pieces and clocks are provided.

Online registration ends April 30 at 10:00 p.m. and onsite registration is not available. A list of registered players, pairings and tournament updates will be posted on the Chess Federation of Canada’s English Chat forum here.

Free parking is available at the Arnprior Public Library (please park at the back of the lot on Saturday) and on town streets. Parking is limited to two hours in the downtown area (please check signs).
